The Neurocognition of Second Language
A CBBC Workshop
Date and location
New Research Building Auditorium
Georgetown University
Friday, April 7th, 2006
9am - 6pm
Note (February 28): The location of the workshop has changed from
that indicated in a previous email announcement.
Goals of the workshop
The workshop aims to bring together researchers who study various aspects
of bilingualism and second language (L2) acquisition and processing,
but who generally do not interact much – in particular people
from the Cognitive Neuroscience community who study L2; researchers
from the
field of Second Language Acquisition (SLA); and individuals from the NIH,
NSF and other government agencies who are interested in
bilingualism and L2.
